The system of rewarding players who make high breaks was changed at the AGM to give everyone a chance of receiving a prize and to ensure that the same players were not getting the prize money each year. I devised a 'sliding scale' system of break prizes based on a players handicap, so the better players had to hit much more to get in the money and the target was achievable by lesser players. I did think I had posted the details on here already but clearly hadn't so do apologise for that, however the following details of the scheme were sent out to captains in their 'notes' before the season started.
Any player making a century break will still get £100
High breaks below 100 will be then be rewarded on a sliding scale depending on handicap
Level 1: Handicaps of -20 to -50 who make a break of 80+ will receive £50
Level 2: Handicaps of 0 to -19 “ “ 60+ “ “ £50
Level 3: Handicaps of +1 to +10 “ “ 50+ “ “ £40
Level 4: Handicaps of +11 to +20 “ “ 40+ “ “ £30
Level 5: Handicaps of +21 to +35 “ “ 30+ “ “ £20
Vets players: Players off -10 to -30 need 50+ and all others need 35+ to win £35
